The infinity mirror

This is a very short project that was realized on just one day. While looking for cool stuff on youtube one evening we came across these infinity mirrors and we thought it would be fun to build one on our own. So we ordered a simple mirror 100cm x 50cm, an ordinary window of the same size, an RGB LED stripe and some semi reflective window foil.

That's it. While the parts were on their way to us we went to the local home improvement store to buy some wood for the frame.

When we had all parts together it tooks us just one afternoon to come out with this.

What shell we tell you? It's just eye-candy!!! Everyone should have such a thing in her / his place! That's definatly a project with a very high W.A.F.! So don't wait, build one and send us your pics!

Have fun!

Top job, very impressive. Thank you for sharing.

What % solar/reflectiv e film did you use and was it silver or black reflective?

Recommended space between the LED strip and the mirror and reflective sheet?

First of all you have nice job. Well done!!
I just wanted to ask you ,Why are you using 2 LED strips? And what is the benefit to that? And secondly the glass that you using in the middle to me looks like frosted glass!!

Did you use an actual mirror for the back or was it glass with a mirror foil on it? I'm trying to decide how to build mine. Thank you!

Hi ;-)

Where have you bought the semi reflective window foil?

Guten Tag ;)

How dös it look if the LED Stripe is Off?

Wie schaut's aus wenn der LED Stripe aus ist?
Denn das vordere Glas mit Folie verspiegelt doch nur von der Seite wo mehr Licht kommt?
